It is written: "'As surely as I
live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess
to God.'" (Romans 14:11)
In the book of Philippians we read,
Therefore God exalted him to the
highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name
of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and
every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
(Philippians 2:9-11)
Every knee that has not bowed to the
name of Jesus and every tongue that has not confessed that Jesus Christ is Lord
will one day do that. But when??
There are so many who die without
doing this, but the day is not far when they will be doing it.
In Revelation Ch. 20 we read,
Then I saw a great white throne and
him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was
no place for them.
And I saw the dead, great and small,
standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened,
which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done
as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death
and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged
according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake
of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found
written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelation
20:11-15)
Yes, those who have not bowed their
knees to the name of Jesus and every tongue that has not confessed that Jesus
is Lord (while they lived) will do it just before they are thrown into the lake
of fire. That will be the fulfillment of Apostle Paul's words.
As the Psalmist says,
God will bless us, and all the ends
of the earth will fear him. (Psalm 67:7)
Praise the Lord.
Blessed are you if you have confessed
"Jesus is Lord" and accepted His atoning work on the cross.
